Pink, Rewritten: A Runway-Worthy Quinceañera
At RMINÉ, every gown tells a story—and some stories come full circle in the most heartfelt ways. Sophia’s Quinceañera was one of those moments that reminded us why we love what we do. Designing her dream dress felt especially meaningful because her aunt was an RMINÉ Bride nearly 20 years ago. To welcome a new generation of women from the same family into our boutique was not only an honor, but a celebration of legacy, tradition, and style.
Sophia had one request: pink and nothing that resembles a typical Quinceañera gown. A gown that can be seen on a runway.
Armine decided to use four different shades of pink and ivory tulle to design something youthful, fresh, and unapologetic to fit Sophia's personality.
While she wanted to create the timeless drama of a ball gown, she also wanted to create a gown that gave Sopia the freedom to dance and express the fun vibrant spirit that defines turning fifteen.
The result? A breathtaking two‑piece pink tulle ball gown that blended classic elegance with modern playfulness.
The circular bias cut mini skirt was adorned with layers of hand cut petals that wear individually sawn creating a soft feathery look, bodice is rushed layers of tulle with shoulder straps adorned with the hand cut petals that ties up with the textured skirt. The look is finished with a removable voluminous tulle skirt to create that iconic, princess-like moment for her entrance, but adding a surprise transformation, when she removed it, revealed a more fun element perfect for dancing, photos, and celebrating freely. The color alone made her gown unforgettable. Soft, romantic, and glowing in every light, the blush-pink shade captured the essence of youth while still feeling luxurious and elevated. Delicate added texture just the right amount of whimsy to make her feel radiant from every angle.
To see a new generation return to us—trusting RMINÉ to dress another milestone moment—was deeply special. It’s the kind of connection that reminds us that our gowns aren’t just garments; they become part of a family’s story.
