Hannah’s family has been part of the RMINÉ story for the past 25 years.

Twenty-five years ago, Hannah’s aunt came to RMINÉ for a beautiful bridal gown in silk satin, adorned with intricate hand beading. Over the years, that relationship became something much more personal. Armine fell in love with Hannah’s free-spirited, bubbly personality, and when it was time to create her own wedding weekend looks, the collaboration felt especially meaningful.

Hannah's wedding weekend unfolded through a collection of thoughtfully designed looks, each with its own story. From reimagining her mother's 1980s wedding gown to transforming her grandmother's gown into a special getting-ready robe, every piece became part of a larger story of family, fashion, and generations of women.

WELCOME PARTY

For Thursday’s festivities, Hannah changed into a striking Alençon lace ensemble. A strapless bodice with intricate side detailing was paired with full-length lace pants, creating a look that felt both romantic and effortlessly modern.

For Friday evening’s celebration, Hannah wanted to bring another piece of her family history into the weekend: her mother’s original wedding gown from the 1980s.

Rather than simply wearing the gown as it was, Armine reimagined it for Hannah. The original turtleneck was transformed into a deep, open V neckline, while the signature puffed sleeves were preserved and the long lace was removed. The top was paired with a miniature bubble skirt crafted from satin taken from a cathedral-length ball gown, creating a playful silhouette that felt distinctly Hannah while still honoring her mother’s original dress.

To complete the look, Hannah wore her mother’s original headpiece, bringing the past and present together in one unforgettable ensemble.

GETTING READY

Hannah had a surprise planned for her grandmother.

She chose to transform her grandmother’s wedding gown into a beautiful robe for her to wear while getting ready on the wedding day. What was once a bridal gown became something new, but its history remained intact—a quiet, sentimental reminder of the women and love stories that came before Hannah’s own.

From her grandmother’s gown to her mother’s 1980s wedding dress, and from the floral details of her own couture gown to the beading passed down to her flower girl, Hannah’s wedding wardrobe became more than a collection of beautiful clothes.

It became a story of family, memory, and the way couture can preserve the past while creating something entirely new.

WEDDING GOWN

For her wedding day, Hannah envisioned a gown that felt classic and romantic, but light enough to move freely, dance, and truly enjoy the celebration. There was one detail she knew she wanted for certain: yellow. It was a playful, unexpected touch that felt perfectly at home against the beautiful setting of Ojai Valley Inn.

Armine created a soft white tulle gown with a strapless, ruched bodice and layers of a semi-ballgown skirt designed to move effortlessly in the breeze. The gown was finished with hand-cut and hand-sewn yellow and ivory flowers, accompanied by delicate green leaves. Each flower was individually placed to create a dimensional, almost garden-like effect across the gown.

The look was completed with a dramatic cathedral-length veil, echoing the floral details of the gown with three-dimensional flowers and leaves cascading along the hemline.

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE

Hannah’s mother, Christina, wanted a gown of her own that would complement her daughter’s look. Arminé designed an elegant silk satin and chiffon gown featuring an asymmetrical, one-shoulder ruched bodice. Handcrafted soutache was draped across the bodice, while the skirt fell in asymmetrical layers with a dramatic side slit.

FLOWER GIRL

For the youngest member of the bridal party, the vision was simple: she wanted to feel like a princess.

RMINÉ created a two-piece look, pairing a silk duchess satin top with a delicate bow detail at the back with a full tulle skirt embellished with beaded floral details. What made the look even more meaningful was that the beading came from her mother’s custom RMINÉ bridal gown, giving the flower girl a beautiful piece of her family’s history to carry with her.
