A Destination Wedding in Yerevan, Armenia

When Eliza walked into our boutique, Armine had a feeling she was in for something special. This beautiful bride has been following RMINÉ for years and always knew when her special day was to come, she was going to wear a custom gown by Armine at RMINÉ.

Eliza told us her wedding was to take place in Yerevan, Armenia in the beautiful monastery of Sagmosavank, which was built in the 13th century. Since Armine was born and spent almost 20 years of her life there, this was going to be a heartfelt and personal design.

Knowing Armenia's landscapes and Eliza's style, Armine knew the gown needed to be classic and timeless, yet soft and airy. This gown would need to fit the beautiful surroundings of a country that has countless years of rich history, filled with beautiful churches so close to Armine's heart.

Armine chose a Chanel-inspired pearl beaded and lace fabric for Eliza’s gown. It was lined with soft peach and skin tone colors, which gave the gown a vintage, yet classic look. The deep V neckline bodice was beautifully draped to one side of Eliza's waist, cascading down to the skirt. The look was finished with a beautiful thin beaded belt hugging her waist. The belt was adorned with vintage crystals and pearl brooches and ostrich feathers.

Looking through Eliza's wedding photos, it was humbling to see her looking stunning, gliding through the surrounding fields of this historic church. This design will forever be a proud moment for Armine.
